Between schematic design and design development phases I was hired to help refine layout and formal expression of 3 unit types.
– Consolidation of vertical circulation and plumbing programs (bathrooms, kitchen and laundry)
- Alignment of openings and structural shear wall
- Addition of balconies and strategic openings to naturally ventilate & illuminate units
– Proposed detached guest-house over garage
These design modifications were presented through simple perspective collages, study model and plans.
